As a preface, I work on a well service rig. Pretty much the one of toughest environments you can put stuff through. PPE gets real world tested daily and low quality products will show their limits quickly.I chose these glasses because of dry chemical getting into my eyes through the sides of my glasses, and looking up to unlatch tubing and having brine drip in my eye. These work well to prevent contaminates from entering from the top, sides, and to some extent, bottom of the glasses. If you have low, to very low ears in relation to your eyes, these glasses were designed for you.My ears however, aren’t lower than my eyes. This makes the seal that runs around the inside of the glasses sit at an angle instead of making flush contact. I feel like the glasses also need slight adjustment upward maybe one to two clicks and they would be great for everyone. The good part is that it’s really only an issue when you first put the glasses on. After a few wears they settle in and are more comfortable.Very light weight, and the frame seems pretty sturdy. No screw to come out on the hinges. The lenses seem to have some scratch proof to them. More resistant than some other more expensive pairs I’ve had.For the fog resistance, you need to have realistic expectations. These have a rubber seal on them. While it doesn’t completely close to your face, there is minimal space for air to vent. You will get some foggy lenses. Typically I need to pull the glasses away from my face for a moment a few times in the morning, then I’m good for the rest of the day.Overall, especially for the price, I would say these are a very solid option.
